Straw
Where does straw come from?
Straw is somewhat of a by-product. After cereal grains, such as wheat, and barley have been harvested for the grain, the hollow stems of these plants remain still out on the pasture. These hollow stems or straw, are baled up much like the hay in rectangular-shape bales and further used for rouage for ruminants, bedding for animals, or as insulations.
